One cell, drawn at the only scale at which its proportions make sense: a crown of dendrites, a body you could hide behind a full stop, and a fibre longer than the rest of it put together.

The sleeves down that fibre are fat, and the gaps between them are the point — the signal does not run its length, it jumps. Set in green, the colour the archive keeps for the nervous system.

Pigment print on 189 gsm matte paper, behind acrylite in a 1.9 cm ayous wood frame from renewable forests. Hanging hardware included. Three sizes: 30 × 46, 46 × 61 and 61 × 91 cm.
